Amusement Park
For more than 134 years, this Allentown theme park has offered families and thrill-seekers a variety of rides and attractions. Roller coasters include Steel Force, with its intense 205-foot drop; Hydra, a floorless coaster; and Talon, one of the Northeast’s tallest inverted coasters. Families can also find fun together in Planet Snoopy, a kid’s area inspired by the Peanuts comic strip.
Wildwater Kingdom offers 28 water slides, two tubing rivers, and giant wave pools. The park features cabanas, snack counters, and an aquatic fun house. It also hosts family-friendly afternoon and scarier evening Halloween programs.
The park’s newest attractions include RetroSpect, which is a high-intensity production that blends favorite current and throwback party anthems on the main midway stage, and the Peanuts block party, featuring Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, and the other gang. LANta bus route 322 serves the park vicinity. The park is located off I-78 exit 54, n.e. on Hamilton Blvd. (SR 222) and n. on Lincoln Ave to jct. Dorney Park Rd.
Water Park
The Wildwater Kingdom is included in admission to Dorney Park and features one of the largest waterparks in the Northeast. The water park includes an impressive collection of rides including 70-foot high Lightning Falls tube slides and the Aquablast giant family raft ride. The park also has two wave pools and two lazy rivers and for younger kids, there is Lollipop Lagoon with 11 kiddie slides and fountains.
The park also has an exciting lineup of roller coasters including Steel Force, one of the longest steel coasters in the world, and Hercules, a wooden terrain roller coaster that was the tallest wood coaster in the world until Cedar Point’s Mean Streak debuted in 1991. A new midway was built in the 1990s to serve both Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom and a parking lot was added that charged a fee for admission.

This year, the restaurant options at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom are expanding! The park will be adding two new bars, allowing guests to purchase alcoholic beverages in areas that also double as entertainment hot spots.
The Oasis will be located next to the Cabana Rentals in Wildwater Kingdom and The Garden Grille will be located on the midway of Dorney Park. Both restaurants will offer a selection of alcoholic beverages as well as appetizers and entrees. All alcoholic beverages will require a valid theme park ticket or guest wristband for each person.
Events
Located in the South Whitehall Township near Allentown, Dorney Park features more than 60 world-class rides and attractions including one of the northeast’s largest waterparks. The park is also home to a variety of fun family-friendly events throughout the year and is one of Cedar Fair’s flagship parks.
In 2012, the park added Stinger (formerly Invertigo from California’s Great America) to its coaster collection. Also, a new Fast Lane virtual queue system was installed and the ride Dinosaurs Alive! was relocated from near Steel Force to a spot adjacent to the entrance of the ride.
Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom opens in May, with weekend hours until Memorial Day and then daily until Labor Day.
